DEFTICKETS LTD is owned and managed by a team who have over 15 years experience in club promotion, who work closely with Promoters and Customers to continually improve our service to both parties.
All tickets contain a unique door entry code and barcode, which you must present at the box office upon arrival to an event + valid ID. Delivery of our tickets are by e-mail only with payments processed using the PayPal secure online system.

How do I receive my ticket?

Upon receipt of payment you can download your e-ticket, which will also be sent to you by e-mail. Please note you will also receive a payment receipt from PayPal.

You can download your e-tickets as soon as they are purchased. They will also be e-mailed to you immediately via our automated system (if you do not receive your e-mail within 60 minutes, please check your junk mail and if still not received contact info@deftickets.co.uk)

How will the venue know who I am?

The venue or promoter is sent the relevant details of everyone who has purchased a ticket for the event. Once you arrive they will check your details at the door. As long as you bring your e-ticket & ID you will gain entry.

The named ticket holder is not attending the event

If the ticket(s) have been purchased on behalf of a third party or the named ticket holder cannot attend, we are happy to transfer the tickets to a new name free of charge you must e-mail the request in reply to the original PayPal ticket receipt from the e-mail address registered at purchase... this must be done 24hrs before the event starts and cannot be processed once the promoter has closed ticket sales.

Do you have booking fees for buying online?

We charge a fixed 10% booking fee per ticket with a £1.00 minimum

How many tickets will I be able to purchase per event?

You can buy as many tickets as you like as long as they’re available. On occasion there may be different types of tickets for an event, it is essential that you select the correct class of ticket if you have bought the wrong ticket you will not be able to claim a refund.

We currently support payment via PayPal instant payments to provide the most flexibility to our users.

What are e-tickets?

An e-ticket is a ticket sent to you by e-mail. The e-ticket will feature brief info on the ticket you have purchased, a barcode and the booking confirmation details. You can either print your e-tickets or bring them with you on your phone.

All the tickets are in my name - do I have to send my tickets to friends for them to gain entry?

No, but if you intend on arriving separately sending tickets to your friends means you can get in as you arrive rather than having to wait around. If you lose your tickets en-route to the event, the only way we can check you are the rightful owner of the ticket is by checking your ID, so reserve the right to refuse admission if the names do not match up.

I have sent a ticket to a friend and they can no longer make it - can I get it back?

Yes, just sign in to your account, select the event and then the "Options" button on the ticket you need to get back. On the pop-up window there will be a red "Unassign" button - click this and confirm, then the ticket is invalidated and a new one created that you can re-use.

The event has been cancelled or rescheduled. Can I get a refund?

CANCELLED EVENTS:
If an event is cancelled you will be contacted as soon as possible after we have received the notification from the event organiser. Refunds will be made automatically to the original card used to make the booking. Please note it may take up to seven working days for the credit to appear on your bank or credit card statement after it has left our bank account.RESCHEDULED EVENTS:
If an event is rescheduled you will be contacted as soon as possible after we receive notification from the event organiser. You will be given the option to attend the rescheduled event and advised whether new tickets will be issued. If you do not wish to attend the rescheduled events and would like a refund then please inform us asap. Refunds will not be offered once the original event date has passed.

I didn't go to the event and now I want a refund. How do I get one?

Quite simply, you can’t. The deftickets.co.uk agreement with promoters is that we have to pay even for “no-shows”. The promoter knows in advance how many tickets have been sold through us for his or her event and makes allowances for this when letting in non-ticket holders.

I've been refused admission to an event, what do I do?
-
You will only be refused admission or ejected from an event if the venue security, door staff or promoter has reason to suspect that you do not meet their entry conditions. This may include, but not limited to, drunk and disorderly behaviour, not conforming to a dress code, behaviour that is either threatening or not conducive to the licence agreements of the venue, illegal activity or racial or sexual intimidation. Right of admission remains with the venue staff and/or promoter. We will not, under any circumstances, enter into or be involved in such disputes and tickets sold though us are done so on this basis.

How do I set up an account?

You must have an account to be able to purchase tickets. This can be set up during the purchase process or by clicking here.
Step by step guide
- Enter your e-mail address (this will function as your username) and press continue.
- Enter your name and billing address and press continue.
- Enter a password and press continue.
Your account will now be set up and you can sign in to manage your purchases and assigned tickets at any time by clicking here.
An e-mail confirmation will also be sent to the email address you used in the sign-up process.
